FOCUS GROUP IN SPAIN

Last 2nd February 2017 took place the focus group with a group od Podiatrist. This activity was developed in the framework of the European Project PODIATRAIN. The aim of this task is to detect the training needs of professionals involved in the new technologies for diagnosis and treatment of foot pathologies.
Focus Group is a technique for obtaining information concerning the training needs of professionals involved in new technologies for diagnosis and the treatment of foot pathologies.
The following general objectives have been established:
  • To characterize the current knowledge and background of podiatry professionals.
  • To identify the knowledge areas required for the application of new technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of foot pathologies.
  • To determine the aspects related to the treatment to the format and design of the courses (length, availability, accreditation, cost, teachers, etc.).
  • To assess the interest in the training.
The results of the this phase of the project will facilitate the definition of a suitable course structure and methods to achieve the learning objectives.
This project is Funded by European Commission ERASMUS+ Call 2016 KA2 – Cooperation and Innovation for Good Practices.
